Roaming Band For Hire

Our roaming band had a wild 24 hours in Ireland last weekend. Curtis and Charlotte met us 4 years ago when we were performing at a Jukebox brunch event in London, when they got engaged we were delighted that they called us to book us in for their special day!

We flew to Belfast on Saturday morning to set up and get ready to welcome guests to the drinks reception. They had decided to keep the band a surprise from the guests. We greeted guests at the door of The Dark Horse in Belfast, a really unique and stylish pub with decor that resembles the 1920s. The atmosphere was super fun and energectic and people were singing along as they walked through the door. We performed two sets at the bar before heading over to The Merhcant hotel to set up for the wedding breakfast.

We welcomed Charlotte, Curtis and their bridal party into the room with 'Ain't no mountain high enough' from this point on we knew it was going to be a wild party. Guests were cheering, clapping and singing along from the word go. During the meal we performed 3 x 20 minute high energy sets inbetween the courses (this gave them time to eat their delicious food). The atmosphere in the roomw was electric, the irish certainly know how to have a good time! We stood on chairs, laid on the floor, napkins were flying around the room, it was a truly sensational afternoon.

Once the meal was over we handed over to Max on Sax who lead the dancing all the way until 1am with a Sax and DJ set.

We want to thank Iain the photographer for capturing these moments.
